We have a ActiveFax server running on a windows PC

To check the status of the printer on the AIX server
qchk -p profax

To change the printer status to UP
qadm -U profax

On the Activefax server PC need to enable the LPD port 515 in the Windows Firewall
Also need to open the remote monitoring port which is defined in one of the settings of the Activfax program
Also Activfax supports telnet access so open the telnet port
