ASSP in SBS 2008 with Virtual Machine

I have a SBS 2008 Server I am installing Anti Spam SMTP Proxy ASSP software to filter out SPAM, before it reaches Exchange Server 2007 SP1.

I am running a Windows Server 2003 Std in a Oracle VirtualBox VM on the SBS Server, ASSP will be installed in the Virtual Machine.

The VM has a IP address of 192.168.0.4 and the SBS Server 2008 Std has a IP address of 192.168.0.3

Incoming email goes to ASSP 192.168.0.4 port 25 on the ASSP server then is sent to Exchange Server on 192.168.0.3 port 25

In ASSP change the listenPort to 192.168.0.4:25
smtpDestination to 192.168.0.3:25
relayPort 325
relayHost mail.optusnet.com.au
allowRelayCon 192.168.0.3
localDomains mydomain.com.au|mydomain2.com.au

In Exchange Management Console
Organization Configuration
Hub Transport
Accepted Domains
Add your domain names to the Accepted Domains and make them Authoritative
eg mydomain.com.au and
mydomain2.com.au
Send Connectors
New Send Connector called "Send to ASSP"
In Network tick Route Mail through the following smart hosts
and add 192.168.0.4

In Exchange Management shell change the outgoing port for Send to ASSP to 325
Set-SendConnector -identity "Send to ASSP" -port 325

In Exchange Management Console
In Server Configuration
Hub Transport
Receive Connectors
The Default Receive connector will be Ok for receiving emails from ASSP, so it does not need changing.

Change the firewall on the VM to allow ports 25 and 325 in
The firewall on the SBS 2008 should already be allowing in ports 25
