Error Message:
A recently installed program has disabled the welcome screen and Fast User Switching. To restore these features you must uninstall the program. The following filename might help you identify the program that made the change: MrvGINA.DLL

Problem:
After installing the driver for: NETGEAR 54 Mbps Wireless PCI Adapter WG311 v3 .
When XP boots, the normal screen which lets each user login by clicking on the icon/picture by their name was no longer visible. Instead it displays a window that asks for the user to type there username and password.

Cause:
This problem was caused by a file called: MrvGINA.dll
Witch is part of the Netgear wireless PCI Adapter Driver installation

To workaround this problem:
You need to click on:
Start -- > Run and type: regedit.

This should open the registry editor
Once open browse to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE/Software/Microsoft/Windows NT/Current Version/WINLOGON

And delete the key named:
GinaDLL

After you have done this go to:
Control Panel -- > User Accounts -- > Change the way users log on or off

And check that both options are checked.
