cannot login to XP Home

Loading your personal Settings
Then before it displays the desktop we then get the message
Logging Off
and the PC is now back at the login screen showing the list of user accounts
We can boot into safe mode
Solution
The fix was to install Windows XP Service Pack 3, SP3 can be downloaded from Microsoft web sitehttp://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyID=5B33B5A8-5E76-401F-BE08-1E1555D4F3D4&displaylang=en
