MTD Parts in Place fails to start

Postby stephen » Wed Jun 07, 2006 4:56 pm

We run a MS Windows 2000 Terminal Server and the MTD Parts in Place was working OK till we installed Agconet 7.0.0

Agconet updated the MDAC to 2.8 SP1

When Agconet was installed it caused these other applications to fail

Landini Galileo 4.7 to fail
and Case Support Pro to fail
some of the errors included

The procedure entry point GetTextExtendPointI could not be located in the dynamic link library MSDART.DLL

The procedure entry point_GetIUMS@4 could not be located in the dynamic link library MSDART.DLL

The Agonet people told me of a D:\av\av.exe program on the Agconet CD
I ran that and it fixed the Galileo and Case Support pro errors

But the MTD program now has the error

Viewer.exe - Common Language Runtime Debugging Services

Application has generated an excption that could not be handled.
Process id=0x1adc (6876), Thread id=0x1efc(7932).
Click OK to terminate the application.
Click Cancel to debug the application.

I have contaced the www.dimension3.com.au people to see if they can get a fix for the MTD Parts in Place software.

Postby stephen » Thu Apr 12, 2007 12:10 pm

The MTD Parts in Place Viewer program still fails to run on the Citrix Server.
I phoned ross at Dimension3 Computing
http://www.dimension3.com.au
ross@dimension3.com.au

and he says the program has not changed from last year.

When the Viewer program starts it reports this error
