During the Markinson 4.09.01 Install the step to commit the changes
fails.

When running the commitupdate.exe in a Markinson Install
the program fails with the following error.

The dynamic link library mscoree.dll could not be found in the specified path

The reason is that Microsoft .NET is not installed on the PC

Download the DOT NET Version 2.0 from Microsoft Web Site
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/

Run the dotnetfx program that is downloaded

Now the commitupdate.exe program will run.

However I received the error Commit Failed, databases are in use.

You must shutdown the database servers
